This software assists users in executing MCMC models using Stan files on R.
It is intended for users who are new to Stan or have some experience with Stan.
HMC algorithm aside, it is recommended for users with some knowledge of MCMC.

Fatsia creates a Stan file based on the model prepared in it and lets R (rstan installed) run MCMC on the R console.

When MCMC sampling is successful, the parameters set for each model are estimated, and they are displayed on the R console.

Additionally, It is possible to display graphs using functions (ggplot2 for Stan as visualization of MCMC results in R) and ShinyStan by clicking the button located in Fatsia.

When using the model as it is, it operates almost exclusively with the mouse, but in the case of to modify or change the model, the user can open the edit screen using the model as a template and edit the template.
Although keyboard input is required, the user can create a new Stan file edited by him/her and run MCMC using the edited Stan file.

※The operation have been confirmed on .netframework4.7.2, Windows 10, R4.1.1, rstan2.21.2, ggplot2 3.3.5, and shinystan2.5.0 (using C++ compiler Rtools4.0).Operations on other OS are not guaranteed.
※Also, please note that even with the above OS, it may not work properly depending on the model and environment of the PC.
※There are Japanese version (FatsiajSetup1_01.msi) and English version (FatsiaSetup1_01.msi) of Fatsia installation package. Please use whichever you like.
The English version and the Japanese version have exactly the same functions, except for the display wording.
※After installing Fatsia, there is no manual configuration of Fatsia itself.
※However, separately from this software and R, be sure to install rstan, ggplot2, shiny stan, Stan's C++ language compiler to R additionally.
※If you repeatedly click the operation button of this software, R may be forcibly terminated.
If you repeat sampling in R continuously, repeat the graph screen display, or perform MCMC with a large number of repetitions, please stop R once and restart it in advance.

※For other matters, the agreement screen at the time of installation and the display of this software startup screen shall be complied with.

※For the operation method, please read the explanation on each operation screen of the software.

Developer：Hiroki INOUE, M.D., Ph.D.
I'd like to implement additional models that will be used in the medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and health care fields after this on.
If you have any suggestions such as "This MCMC model is used in the field, why not implement it?",
to seyab@X-IL.jp.
However, it does not guarantee a reply or implementation. Please do not be offended when doing so.
